Tara is a registered nurse and experienced nursing assistant instructor who has taught many students on their way into healthcare. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is a Public Health Nurse (PHN). Our cohorts are condensed but compliant — the full 75 required hours (59 classroom plus 16 in-person clinical) are scheduled across a few focused weeks, with a locked-in earliest exam date so you know exactly when you can test.
Yes. Northwest FastPath is a Minnesota-approved nurse aide training program. Completing the program and passing the state competency exam makes you eligible to be listed on the Minnesota Nurse Aide Registry.
No. Most of our students are career changers starting from scratch. The program teaches you everything you need, from taking vital signs to safe transfers and resident care.
Yes. Minnesota allows nurse aide students 16 and up. Students under 18 enroll with a parent or guardian, who reviews and e-signs the program agreements before training begins.
