Your instructor

Tara is a registered nurse and experienced nursing assistant instructor who has taught many students on their way into healthcare. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is a Public Health Nurse (PHN). Students consistently describe her as kind, clear, and genuinely supportive — she has a gift for making complex material easy to understand and for giving the hands-on help that builds real confidence at the bedside.
Before founding Northwest FastPath, Tara spent years teaching at several community colleges and trade schools around the Twin Cities metro. Her passion for nursing and for teaching shines through in the classroom — and it shows in her consistently strong student reviews, including a standout rating on RateMyProfessors.
That combination — clinical depth plus patient, practical teaching — is exactly what you want in the person preparing you for the state competency exam and your first job as a CNA.
