Be at least 16 years old
Minnesota allows nurse aide students 16+. Students under 18 enroll with a parent or guardian.

Physical ability
Nurse aide work involves standing, lifting, and assisting residents with mobility. You should be able to perform these tasks safely.
Attendance & English proficiency
You must attend the required hours to be exam-eligible, and be able to read, write, and communicate in English for safe patient care.
